A special court on Monday permitted the prosecution to send copies of confession made by prime accused in Mumbai terror attack case Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab and other related documents to the Pakistan government.

Judge M L Tahaliyani allowed the prosecution to make copies of Kasab’s confession, record of recovery of satellite phones and communication reports of telephonic talks between the perpetrators of November 26 attack and the conspirators.

Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam said some persons have been arrested in Pakistan for their alleged complicity in this case. The Pakistan government is prosecuting against them in a court and so they want certain documents from India which can be used as evidence against them.

Kasab’s confession allegedly describes how the conspiracy was hatched in Pakistan by members of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), he said.
