Shocking news circulated in China . (Via Email)
A town in Canton is now on trend taking baby herbal soup to increase health and sexual performance/stamina. The cost in China currency = approx $4000. A factory manager was interviewed and he testified that it is effective because he is a frequent customer. It is a delicacy whereby expensive herbs are added to boil the baby with chicken meat for 8 hours boiling/steaming. He pointed to his second wife next to him, who is 19 (he is 62), and testified that they have sex everyday. After waiting for a couple of weeks, he took this reporter to the restaurant when he was informed by restaurant Manager that the sparerib soup (local code for baby soup) was now available.
This time, it was a couple who have 2 daughters and this 3rd one was confirmed to be a daughter again. So the couple aborted the baby which was 5 months old. Those babies close to be born and die naturally costs 2000 in China currency. The aborted ones cost a few hundreds in China Currency. Those couples who did not want to sell dead babies, placentas can be accepted also for a couple of hundreds.
The reporter making comment that is this the problem arise from Chinese being taking
too much attention in health or is the backfire when China introduced one child in a
family policy (since majority prefer to have male babies and those poorer families
ended up selling their female babies.)

A Mr. Cheng from Hong Kong claims he has been eating fetus soup for more than six months. To begin, the man, in his 40’s, would make the trip to Shenzhen frequently for business and was introduced to fetuses by friends. He says he met a number of professors and doctors in government hospitals who helped him buy the fetuses. “At first, I felt uncomfortable, but doctors said the substances in fetuses could help cure my asthma. I started taking them and gradually, the asthma disappeared,” Cheng said.
“Zou Qin, 32, a woman from Hubei with the fine skin of a someone several years younger, attributes her well preserved looks to a diet of fetuses. As a doctor at the Lun Hu Clinic, Zou has carried out abortions on several hundred patients. She believes fetuses are highly nutritious and claims to have eaten more than 100 in the past six months. She pulls out a fetus specimen before a reporter and explains the selection criteria. “People normally prefer (fetuses of) young women, and even better, the first baby and a male.” She adds: “They are wasted if we don’t eat them. The women who receive abortions here don’t want the fetuses. Also, the fetuses are already dead [when we eat them]. We don’t carry out abortions just to eat the fetuses.”
“Before, my sister’s children were very weak. I heard that fetuses were good for your health and started taking some to my nephews,” Zou says, without remorse. “I wash them with clear water until they look transparent white and then stew them. Making soup is best.” But she admits there are drawbacks to this dubious delicacy. “Fetuses are very smelly and not everybody can take the stink,” she said. “You can also make meat cakes by mixing fetuses with minced meat but you have to add more ginger and chives to get rid of the smell.”
“They can make your skin smoother, your body stronger and are good for kidneys. When I was in an army hospital in Jiangti province, I often brought fetuses home. They were pink, like little mice, with hands and feet. Normally, I buy some pork to make soup (with the fetuses added). I know they are human beings, and (eating them) feels disgusting. But at that time, it was already very popular.”
A Ms. Li from Hong Kong has had two abortions in Shenzhen but has never heard of people eating fetuses. “But I didn’t want the babies, so after the abortions, I just left them with the hospital,” she says. “I didn’t want to look at them, and I certainly didn’t want to keep them. Fetuses of two or three months are just water and blood when they come out. They are so small, how can you eat them?”

Doctors in the territory have responded with disgust and incredulity to stories of people supplementing their diets with fetuses. Many have read articles of fetal cannibalism but none has been able to verify the reports. They are treating the issue with skepticism. Dr. Margaret Kwan, a gynecologist who until two weeks ago held the post of chief executive at the FPA, says: “This is the strangest thing I have ever heard coming out of China. I just hope it is not true.”
Dr. Warren Lee, president of the Hong Kong Nutrition Association, is aware of the unsavory rumors. “Eating fetuses is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine and is deeply founded in Chinese folklore. In terms of nutrition, a fetus would be a good source of protein and fats, and there are minerals in bone. But I don’t know if eating fetuses is just folklore or more than that,” he says. According to Lee, it is conceivable that fetuses are rich in certain hormones that are beneficial to the adult human body, but should this be the case, the fetal matter would have to be converted into an indictable form for best results, as most hormones including the hormone for diabetes, insulin – are broken down in the digestive system before they have a chance to be absorbed by the body.
But Lee suggests that anyone who eats a fetus would be seeking a remedy that is far more elusive than a hormone or mineral. “Some people may think there is also an unidentified substance or chemical that has healing powers, but there is no evidence that this is true.” Lee urges people to be wary – “There are people out there who just want to make money and they will come up with all sorts of formulas or substances, which, they say will cure diseases.”
As a child, Patrick Yau was fed on human placentas by his mother who worked at a local hospital, but in his current position as a psychologist with the Social Welfare Department he is both repulsed and shocked by the notion of eating fetuses. “As a Catholic, I object to abortions because I believe the fetus is a human life, and I certainly object to eating a dead baby after it has been aborted,” he says. Yau concedes that in China, where the one child policy has turned abortions into an acceptable remedy to an unfortunate human blunder, people may have adopted a new outlook on life before birth, such that embryos are stripped of their status as human beings.
But Tang fails to understand how anyone anywhere can convince themselves “that they are just eating an organism when they are actually eating a dead body”. “It may not be a formed human being, but when they think about it most people would think: ‘Ugh! No, I can’t eat that.’ I don’t think civilized people with an education could do that sort of thing.”
Dr. Wong, a Hong Kong doctor who practices Western medicine, thinks only the ignorant would eat human fetuses. He explains that fetuses contain mucoploysaccharide, which is beneficial to the metabolism, but states that it can be found in a lot of other food – Chinese doctor Chu Ho-Ting agrees that there is no place for fetuses in medicine, and suggests that it might even be unhealthy if the pregnant woman was infected by disease.
“Most bacteria can be killed under 100 degree heat but some require 400 degrees. Some people believe eating fetuses can strengthen the immunity of the human body against diseases, but this is wrong. Although fetuses contain protein, they are not as nutritious as placenta, which contains different kinds of nutrients. But even placenta has to be taken with other Chinese herbs.”

Yes they do eat dogs. My relative visited the east frequently for business and if he asked for it (you use a certain phrase or term), you can get dog to eat.
So I believe they eat babies. They’re only allowed to have one kid = MAYBE TAKE THAT AS A FRIGGIN HINT TO STOP BREEDING, YOU DISGUSTING ANIMALS.
So now they gotta eat the leftovers. They’re a sick race. This is one of the reasons why I broke up with my ex. He took me to a restaurant once, just a normal chinese restaurant, I thought..and him and his family were all eating CHICKEN FEET. I nearly threw up and just sat there without eating a thing. No way I am marrying someone who thinks it’s ok to eat something as gross as chicken feet…. but now I see they even eat babies..sick fucks..

You know what disgusts me? Almost all of the replies that have been posted. Most of you are clearly uneducated (as is quite obvious by your terrible grammar, the original article included) and will believe anything the media tells you. I suspect none of you have actually been to China, and so believe the western world (more specifically the United States) is superior to every other country. You laugh at Asian nations for eating unusual foods and riding bicycles instead of cars, ignorant to the fact that this is part of their culture and automobiles over there cost 4 times what it does in America. Hell, if you lived there you’d be on foot too. According to your standards of being “civilized”, the only animals appropriate to be consumed are basically cows, pigs, and chickens. How is a dog greater than a cow? Don’t they both feel equal pain when they die? It is ridiculous how we live in such a conformist society, where people select certain creatures to be ‘above’ others for no apparent reason.
@Katie: I’m guessing you eat chicken. Why will you eat a chicken leg but not the feet? Obviously it’s not because of sanitation. It isn’t like they were eating genitals, which would be slightly more upsetting.
Finally, how many of you read the whole article? If you did, then you seem to have focused all your attention on the parts you would like to hear, and ignore paragraphs where it states many (a majority, in fact) of chinese people are unaware of the practice altogether. Please try to use your brain (if you have one) the next time you feel the need to post a reply (which is hopefully never).

THANK YOU for posting that comment. I agree, some of these people are so ignorant. Because they hear that SOME Asian people (namely Chinese, in this case) eat dogs, that all Chinese do so. Then, they carry that notion in the states, and decide that all Asians HERE are weird as well. What kind of stuckup people are you? And Katie, Chicken feet? Doesn’t it sound weird eating chicken MUSCLE or SKIN? And because you believe everyone eats dogs, they eat babies? how does that even correlate?
If it even is a practice, it definitely is not widespread. I know a lot of people all throughout China and none of them have ever heard of this.
Like Bill said, Jeffrey Dahmer also killed and cannibalized young boys. But we don’t hear other countries, or yourselves, calling the US disgusting. Take a moment to see how idiotic, ignorant, and racially superior you sound.

Amazing how easy it is for the media to stir up racial hatred over unsubstantiated reports. The gullible mass will fall for anything! I have even seen photographs purporting to support this practice(I have also seen “Alien Autopsy” which a great many people still believe to be real).
Travelling in China is a great eye opener. It is an amazing country with amazing people and, despite the vast amount of western anti-Chinese propaganda, well run by a government who will listen to the people!
I have spent quite a lot of time there and travel where I like, when I like without interference. Yes they will eat most of Gods creatures and plants, but babies? Get real!
BTW “Anonymous” cars do not cost four times as much in China, that why the cities have so much congestion!!

I believe this is fake. There was a chinese film about this called ‘Dumplings’ I think the actress is that Mai Ling woman who’s in Hollywood at the moment. I strongly doubt that other people from other countries would let this go on for so long even if it hasn’t been stopped yet. I also strongly doubt the Chinese Govt. to allow this to happen too. Stop stereotyping not all Chinese eat Dogs and all that stuff. So what if they do? Think of it this way. It’s alright for the Western Countries because they were provided with Chickens and Cows etc. However in Eastern countries there weren’t that much.

I have been to China and yes they do eat foods that Western cultures may consider ‘disgusting’ but that’s only because we see them as something different. For example a dog to Western culture it is a pet, to them its considered a pest like rats and you see loads of stray dogs wandering around streets.
I do agree that the idea of eating a dead, not completely formed child is rather sickening and I dare to think where the idea came from. I think they are very wrong in thinking its good for your sex drive and healthy for your immune system because all a fetus really is are forming muscles and then nutrition from the unfortunate mother who had the child aborted. In my opinion it really is a form of canabolism and to my knowledge no culture eats fetus’ of any animal, so why eat a human one? Surely that’s even worse then considering eating a fetus of a cow or a pig?
Well overall I find the concept disturbing and really hope that the Chinese government step in here. They may have passed a law against second children, but they didn’y say everyone could become cannibals.

The following areas look strange to me: No Chinese have oven or BBQ to cook meat at home unless you are Tibetan or other minority people! Chinese don’t wear disposable glove to prepare food in restaurant or at home-this is surgeon in operation room or lab: it destroys your appetite; Chinese don’t utilize plates or containers to prepare food either in kitchen or on the dinning table as it shows in the photos; Chinese don’t eat overcooked meat like this: it may be food for your pets or cattle; Chinese don’t bite large chunk of meat in this way: they cut in the size ready to eat; Chinese don’t take meat with juice – instead, with strong dry white wine! At least beer! Chinese don’t have meal without any other dishes – it has to come with few more dishes, at least with a few appetizers regardless your rich or poor! Chinese will never ever have picture or art work as the one showing on back ground!
This was BBQ at home-not Chinese in China because they only have BBQ in restaurant! There are only a few percent of really wealthy families may have oven at home but this photo looks like the person leaving in really low class. Sorry, i gotta you! Sorry this can only fool foreigners!
